First Thursday
Held on the 1st Thursday of each month, at the
wonderful cafe in Lingham's bookstore, Heswall, you can
go along to read your poetry, or just relax and listen
to the variety of pre-booked musicians/poets.
Their Meetings start at 7.30pm and will take place
on the following dates in 2009:
- Thursday, 1st October
- Thursday, 5th November
- Thursday, 3rd December

This brand new group is home to a mix
of poets and acoustic musicians.
Held on the 1st Monday of each month, at the
newly opened River View Pub, Chester Street,
Birkenhead, you can come along to read your
poetry, perform your music, or just relax and

The Bards of New Brighton
Held the second Monday of every month,
the Bards of New Brighton meet in the Magazine
pub in, unsurprisingly, New Brighton. Their next
